Pulse Heating Emulation Test System
Pulse Heating is a general method standing for heating up batteries in the way of applying specific waveforms (mainly pulses of sinusoidal wave) of current, it is also named as Ripple Heating since the conventional use of AC superimposed DC current for heating up batteries.
Comparing to traditional heating up methods by vehicle thermal management, the pulse heating method can achieve much Higher temperature rising speed and straight forward from the inside of batteries – making it a new and quick developing Method to help solve the capacity loss and fast charging limitation at low temperatures of cold weather.
Stropower’s pulse heating emulation test system can be deployed on battery cells, module and PACK in the form of turn-key solutions corresponding to different battery scales. The main products of these test systems are Ripple Emulators for Different power levels with DC current plus superimposed AC components, covering a wide frequency band from 0.1Hz to hundreds of kHz.
